And here it is: the De’Longhi “Eclettica Electric Kettle with Temperature Control (Blissful Beige).”
I fell in love at first sight with its cute, rounded look, but after using it every day, I’ve found it to be highly functional and an absolute lifesaver.
Today, I’d like to share a detailed review of this kettle’s charm and its real-life usability.
A Beautiful Design That Blends into the Space
The biggest reason we chose this kettle was its design and color.
“Blissful Beige” features a matte texture and an exquisitely warm tone.
It blends seamlessly into our beige-toned, plastered wall interior.
It doesn’t have that cold, sterile “home appliance” feel. It looks picturesque even just left out on the counter, making me happy every time I glance at the kitchen.
Functionality That Enriches Daily Life
It’s not just about looks; it’s packed with convenient features that elevate our daily life.
The Convenient 9-Level Temperature Control
The biggest feature of this kettle is that you can set the temperature precisely across 9 levels, from 50°C to 100°C (122°F to 212°F).
For my first cup of hot water in the morning, I set it to 50°C.
I use 80°C for green tea, and a full 100°C for coffee and black tea.
Being able to quickly boil water to the exact temperature that brings out the best flavor in each drink has made brewing tea more enjoyable than ever.
20-Minute Keep-Warm Function
During busy mornings, have you ever boiled water, gotten distracted by other chores, and thought, “Oh no, the water got cold…”?
This kettle comes with a keep-warm function that maintains your set temperature for 20 minutes.
It’s an incredibly helpful feature that gives you a little extra peace of mind.
Our Honest Thoughts After Using It
Here is a summary of the pros and a few minor concerns we noticed after using it daily for several months.

- The spout is drip-resistant and great for pour-over coffee
- The operation sounds are soft and unobtrusive
- The lid opens wide, making the inside very easy to wash
[Minor Concerns]
- Right after boiling, the surface of the kettle gets quite hot.
(The handle stays cool, so pouring is fine, but households with children should be a bit careful.) - Since it’s a 1.0L size, it might feel a bit small for families who use a lot of hot water at once. For our two-person household, it’s the perfect size.
I mentioned a couple of minor concerns, but its design and usability more than make up for them. It has truly become an indispensable item in our daily lives.
A Relaxing Tea Time
The very first thing I made after getting this kettle was yuzu tea, using “homemade yuzu syrup” made from yuzus sent from my parents’ home.
